Five Years of Line Maintenance at EDMO

JetSupport marks five years of continuous line maintenance operations.

Last December marked five years of continuous operation at EDMO. During that time, the station has supported some of our main customers and handled day-to-day line maintenance. This established base allows us to further expand the team and provide robust aircraft type coverage in Europe and globally.

From an Idea to a Leading Facility

Since commencing operations at EDMO, the station has evolved from a local line maintenance presence into a structurally embedded part of JetSupport’s European maintenance network. Processes, staffing levels, and tooling have been shaped by day-to-day operational exposure to differentiated line and base maintenance work.

The EDMO team today supports repeat customers with consistent standards, known engineers, and clear technical coordination.

Expanded Type Coverage

Building on this foundation, the Munich team now provides expanded coverage across key business jet platforms. Current capability includes Falcon 7X, Citation CJ series, Citation XLS, Latitude, and Phenom 300 aircraft.

Local type-rated engineers, approved tooling, and direct integration with JetSupport’s 24/7 Maintenance Control Center shorten decision chains during AOG events. Technical control, parts coordination, and engineering execution remain aligned from first call to release to service.

Growth Through Leadership

Operational maturity depends on clear ownership. To reinforce this at EDMO, new management is in place.

Key personnel who have supported the operation since its first day bring detailed knowledge of local customers, workflows, and expectations. The role formalises a direct interface between flight operations and the maintenance organisation, with defined responsibility at the facility level.

Five years of continuous operation at Oberpfaffenhofen have established a station with predictable capacity, local decision authority, and proven response capability required for high-tempo business aviation operations in Central Europe.

With this experience and understanding of clients’ needs, further growth will follow the same logic. Capacity will expand only where it supports faster response, higher aircraft availability, and predictable maintenance outcomes.

For operators requiring support in the Munich region, or for immediate AOG coordination, JetSupport’s 24/7 MCC remains the single point of contact.
