Amsterdam Financial Controller

To further expand our Amsterdam team, we are inviting candidates to apply for the full-time position of Financial Controller.

We are looking for a pragmatic and hands-on Financial Controller who can contribute to the further professionalization and efficiency of the finance processes (AP, AR, GL, monthly and annual closing).

Responsibilities:

• Together with the CFO you are responsible for all accounting, tax, and reporting activities of JetSupport for the branches in the Netherlands, Germany, and France.
• Reporting to and acting as the right hand of the CFO.
• Creating a strong financial foundation by executing, reviewing, (re)designing and automating all finance processes.
• Taking the lead in implementing improvements
• Acting as the first point of contact for daily (financial) issues towards the business and the accounting team (3FTE).
• In addition to carrying out, coordinating and controlling the financial administration (including creditors, debtors, stock administration), focusing on the more complex accounting technical matters during the periodic closings (intercompany consolidations, work in progress, balance sheet specifications), on the preparation of the annual accounts and the tax returns.
• Knowing exactly what is going on at P&L and Balance level, looking at variances, trends, root causes and risks.
• Doing an initial analysis of the actuals vs. forecast & budget, which you discuss with the CFO and thinking along about the consequences for the (financial and operational) results of the organization.
